Media coaching can help you shine, and share your work with the world
You’ve made your album, film, show, or book.
Now you need to talk about it in the media, to tell your story in an interesting, engaging way. As a journalist with over 30 years experience, I can help you practice that story, and craft it so you truly express the message you want to convey.
I can’t tell you what to say – that’s up to you.
But I can help you tell your story, and talk about your work in the best possible way. You’ll be able to practice answering awkward or difficult questions, and feel confident that you’re representing yourself in a way that is authentic and right for you.
It’s about being able to talk about your work with confidence, and getting your message clear. It’s also about anticipating difficult questions or problems, and feeling prepared if they do arise.
Who is it for?
I’ve worked on this with some of the biggest names in the music industry, with actors, directors, artists and writers. I’ve helped celebrities prepare for TV chat shows – and creatives prepare to promote their work by guesting on podcasts.
This coaching can also be useful if you want to hone how you talk about a project in meetings, or improve your website and social media presence so it attracts the audience (and the sales) you really want.
How it works.
For individuals or small groups (bands, or other creative collaborators), sessions take 2-4 hours depending on client needs, and are completely confidential.
I’m unable to provide testimonials from past clients, because I don’t ever talk about who I’ve worked with. But I can put you in touch with managers or senior record company personnel who would vouch for my work.
My own contract has a non-disclosure clause, but I’m happy to sign any NDA you might wish. Managers, PRs, agents, authors, performers or artists wanting to discuss this further should contact me here.
